Why do I keep getting an error message while trying to register/request a ballot?

If you receive an error message while trying to complete the Voter Registration/Ballot Request process, please submit a report to the Voter Help Desk for assistance. Be sure to complete all fields and to indicate the following:

  • The type of computer and browser you are using.

  • Which state in the U.S. you are trying to register in.

  • If you get an error message, please tell us exactly what the error message says.

  • It is helpful if you send us your phone number and time zone when you report a technical problem as we may need to contact you if email is insufficient.

  • If you can attach a screenshot to your report, that would be very helpful!
