I'm receiving email alerts about elections in the wrong state. How do I change that?

If you opted in to receiving Voter Alerts when you created your Voter Account, you'll receive email alerts about elections in the state and voting region you entered in the "Home Address" section of your account.

If you would like to change the information associated with your Voter Account so that you receive email alerts for elections at your current address, you can do so on the U.S. Vote Foundation website

Once you have opened the website, click on the arrow next to "Voter Account" in the top right corner of the web page, select "U.S. Vote Login," and sign into your account. You can also access the sign-in page here.

Once you have signed in and are on your Voter Account dashboard page, you will see "Select Options" in the top right corner of the web page. Choose the option "Edit Account" from the dropdown menu, and under "Home Address," enter your correct address, state, and voting region. Under "Current Address" check the box for "Same as Home Address." Scroll down and click "Save" to complete the process.
